By Sofier

Installing grass paving grids starts below the visible cells. PP grass grid pavers should be laid on the prepared construction specified for the project, with levels and borders resolved before panels are connected. A neat surface pattern cannot compensate for an uneven or inadequately prepared supporting layer.

For a proposal using lawn reinforcement grids, check whether the work is a new construction or reinforcement of an existing planted area. The sequence should reflect that distinction. This checklist covers preparation, panel placement, infill and establishment without assuming universal excavation or compaction dimensions.

Approve the supporting construction

Check the prepared subgrade and each specified base layer before covering it. Record levels, drainage provisions and any changes required by the ground conditions. Keep inspections associated with their locations. Once panels and infill are installed, the base becomes difficult to assess, so early acceptance is more useful than trying to diagnose settlement from the finished surface.

Lay out from fixed references

Set alignment from entrances, borders and other permanent features. Use the product's connection instructions and inspect cuts around irregular edges. Allow only the movement provisions specified for the system rather than forcing panels tightly against every obstacle. A trial row helps identify connector orientation and effective coverage before the full area is laid.

Place the agreed infill

Confirm the approved infill and finished level relative to the cells. Spread it using a method that protects the panel assembly. Avoid changing growing media or aggregate because another material is conveniently available on site. Record the accepted infill source so that repairs and later maintenance can use a compatible material.

Support vegetation establishment

Follow the landscape plan for seeding or planting, irrigation and early-use restrictions. Establishment is a separate activity from installing plastic panels. Identify who checks bare patches or poor drainage during the initial period. Opening the area too early can undermine the intended planted finish even if the grid connections were installed correctly.

Inspect before handover

Review alignment, infill distribution, transitions and drainage access with the project team. Retain photographs and a maintenance instruction sheet. Ask Suneco New Materials for the selected model's connection and cutting guidance before installation so the crew works from product-specific details instead of assuming that all grass grids assemble alike.
